Maksettuasi osallistumisen, voit osallistua kaikkiin haluamiisi kilpaluokkiin valitsemassasi sarjassa Kite Life WKND 2024 -tapahtumassa.

HYPYT

• Korkeus
• Pituus
• Hangtime (pisin aika ilmassa)

RATA

• Ratakilpailu avoinna kaikille lautamalleille, nopein aika voittaa.

OVERALL

• Osallistuessasi kaikkiin kilpalajeihin pisteytämme suorituksesi OVERALL-kilpailua varten.
  Tämän pisteytyksen perusteella saamme Ranking-tilaston ja voittajasta leivotaan SUOMEN PARAS LEIJASURFFAAJA.

Rising Stars – sarja

• Sarja on suunnattu lajin pariin vasta tulleille. Kilpailu ei sisällä hyppyjä, vaan kevennetyn ratakilpailun sekä muita teknistä osaamista mittaavia kilpailuosioita, nämä päivitetään myöhemmin.

Kilpakategorioista palkitaan korkein hyppy, rata ja overall. Palkinnot ovat todellakin tavoittelemisen arvoisia.

Osallistuminen hyppykilpailuihin edellyttää SURFR sovelluksen (linkki aukeaa uuteen välilehteen) käyttöä, joten lataa sovellus puhelimeesi ja tutustu sen käyttöön ennen kilpailua.
Voit ladata SURFR sovelluksen sekä Android että iPhone sovelluskaupasta veloituksetta.
Mikäli puhelimesi ei ole vedenkestävä, suosittelemme hankkimaan puhelimelle vedenpitävän pussin, puhelin pidetään suorituksen aikana märkäpuvun sisällä rintakehää vasten, näyttö pois päin itsestäsi.

After paying the entry fee, you gain access to all race categories at your selected level in Kite Life WKND 2024, which include Jumps, Track, and Overall or “Rising Stars” level disciplines.

Race Categories:

JUMPS

• Height
• Distance
• Hangtime (longest time in the air)

TRACK

• Open to all board models, fastest time wins.

OVERALL

• By participating in all the categories, we will score your performance for the OVERALL competition.
• Based on this scoring, we will derive the Ranking statistics, and the winner will be crowned FINLAND’S BEST KITE SURFER.

Rising Stars – series

• This series is designed for newcomers to the sport. The competition does not include jumps but features a simplified track race and other sections measuring technical skills, which will be updated later.

In the Jumps category, competitors are evaluated on their jump’s height, distance, and airtime.

You must have the SURFR app installed on your smartphone or smartwatch to compete. The app is available for free in both Android and iPhone app stores. We recommend the PRO version, although the basic version is also suitable for participation. Read more: https://www.thesurfr.app/
We suggest using a waterproof case for your phone if it isn’t waterproof, as you’ll keep it inside your wetsuit on your chest during events. Alternatively, you can purchase a board mount directly from the SURFR app store. You can find it here: https://shop.thesurfr.app/product/themount?v=f0aa03aaca95.

The Track race welcomes all types of boards, with the fastest time taking the win. To participate, you’ll need the Sports Tracker app, which is free to download from https://www.sports-tracker.com/ for both Android and IOS devices.

For the Overall category, your results across the races will contribute to your overall score and ranking. The top performer will earn the title of FINLAND’S BEST KITE SURFER until the next event and will be recognized along with the highest jump and fastest track times in the award ceremony. These accolades are certainly worth competing for.
